It is not easy to find a alternative to Laird Tflex 900 in local Chinese market in the past. It changed a lot in recent years. At least, GLPOLY is able to compete with top class brand such as Laird, Bergquist, Fujipoly or 3M.

One millimater wave radar manufacturer consulted with us about high performance thermal gap pad which is used for replacing Laird Tflex900. Some properties must be consistent with that of Laird Tflex900. We recommended GLPOLY XK-P80 to customer. This thermal pad is a high thermal performance, electrical insulation and highly conformable gap filling material with a thermal conductivity of 8.0W/mK. I can imagine that customer will doubt the performance of this thermal gap pad, but test will exhibit detail.
Test resulteds showed that both GLPOLY XK-P80 and Laird Tflex900 provided a thermal conductivity of 8.0W/mK, but XK-P80’s thermal imepdance 0.13℃in2/W which is much lower than Laird Tflex900’s. This really surprised customer, “This is only local product that meet our requirements I had tested.”
