GLPOLY thermal gap filler XK-S series product has been applying to automotive projects. No matter what the application is, most important is how could GLPOLY eliminate customers’ concern about reliability of GLPOLY thermal gap filler? The answer is reliability of GLPOLY thermal gap filler had been verified by three aging tests.

For high-end products, the performance and service life of components will be considered as the first thing. Except thermal conductivity, thermal impedance, withstand voltage, other parameters such as rate of oil leakage, 1000/2000hrs temperature alternating test and thermal chock test are needed. With complete portfolio of test items, GLPOLY had earned customers’s trust and provided thermal gap filler for NIO, GAC NE, LEAPMOTOR and CALT, even foreign customers.

Early this year, a motor manufacturer consulted with GLPOLY about thermal gap filler, one of statement of requirements is “high and low temperature alternating test”.  Actually, GLPOLY can finish this test in house with existing equiment, saving at least 10 thousand of cost for customer.

GLPOLY communicated this test method with experts from Institute of High Energy Physics Chinese Academy of Sciences and approved it together. The test method is fixed as follow: for example, a full cycle includes: Keep specimen at 150 for a hour, low the temperature to -40 in 10 mins, and stay -40℃ for one hour, then raise temperature to 150℃ in 10mins. This will take several months, so we raise an accelerated aging test which will test specimen separately at 298, 250, 230℃ and 198, finishing life cycle simulation in one month.

Of course there are many test methods, but we’ll provide a proper one which sticks to customers’ application, protecting customers’ brand reputation for performance and reliability.
