Many rivals claimed that their products were alternative to other brand of products, especially the top class ones, so it seemed like it was very easy to find an analogue in local Chinese market. But in reality, customer could not find a appropriate one from dozens of anologues, for example, one product had a good thermal properties but the physical properties unqualified. GLPOLY thermal interface materials provided excellent integrated performance which was comparable to world class brands.
A power supply company contacted me and asked if we can provide an anologue of Fujipoly SPG-30B, I said it was available. “Don’t get so definite yet, though thermal conductivity of Fujipoly SPG-30B was 3.0W/mK, it was not very high, we still could not find a similar product with appropriate flow speed and high reliability, I had tested several products already.”
I understood what customer concerned about. Definitely, Fujipoly SPG-30B was excellent thermal putty with high performance and reliability. GLPOLY studied this material three year ago and launched thermal gel XK-G30 which provided equivalent performance and properties. I received lots of feedback that most of anologues could provide similar thermal performance but failure to flow speed or dispensing process. According to customer’s application requirements, I recommended thermal gel XK-G30 and suggested customer test samples in real conditions.
Test lasted for four weeks in high temperature, changes of parameters of GLPOLY XK-G30 thermal putty were within 5%, definitely GLPOLY XK-G30 could substitute for Fujipoly SPG-30B. Customer satisfied with XK-G30 and promised to push product switching asap.
