Battery Cell Bond Solution-GLPOLY Thermally Conductive Adhesive

The boom of new energy electric vehicle drives engineers to improves thermal management of battery pack. Cell to pack structural battery pack is one of solutions to optimize thermal management and increase energy density, extending range of mileage, thermally conductive adhesive is ideal for “cell to pack” battery pack. Compared with regular thermal gap pad and two-component thermal gap filler, thermally conductive adhesive provides strong bonding strength besides thermal performance and gap filling.

 

At present, there is no technical standard for theramlly conductive adhesive which will be applied to EV battery pack. In such a situation, GLPOLY developed XK-D series of thermally conductive adhesive for “cell to pack” battery pack. GLPOLY XK-D series is an epoxy based, high performance, electrically isolating, high bonding strength structural adhesive.


GLPOLY XK-D series thermally conductive epoxy adhesive cures at room temperature also can be accelerated with extra heat. This kind of thermal interface materials provides high bonding strength for application where structural bonding is required, eliminating the need for fasteners and maintaining structural bond in severe environments.
