You can find some kinds of thermally conductive adhesives easily in the market, actually, it’s not easy to find a auto-grade thermally conductive adhesive, this is reality, especially a thermally conductive adhesive combining high thermal performance and strong bonding strength.
After four years development and validation, GLPOLY launched XK-D series of thermally coductive structural adhesives, featuring 1.2-3.0W/mK thermal conductivity, 8MPa bonding strength. We don’t only supply a product but technical support including dispense processes, field application support etc.
To most of thermal management engineers, most concerned items are thermal conductivity, shear strength, cure time, pot life, viscosity, performances after ageing test etc, of course there is a few difference in each design. It’s not created by our imagine, but based on communication with all kinds of clients in EV sector.
Another item concerned by engineers is sag resistance. Usually viscosity is a little higher when it is in static state, and it’s reversed in processes for dispensing easily.
