In the past ten years, Bergquist, Kerafol, 3M, Fujipoly and Chomerics had occupied the most of the market share. In recent years, Chinese thermal interface materials manufacturers accelerated research and development to catch up with top-class brand mentioned above, GLPOLY is one of them. Let’s take Kerafol Keratherm U85 and GLPOLY non-silicone thermal insulator XK-FN30 as a example.

Many customers can not find the alternative to Keratherm U85 because they don’t understand this product. Keratherm U85 is reinforced by epoxy film, this is point. For most of this kind of products, they are reinforced by fiberglass.

Keratherm U85 is a high performance thermally conductive insulator with 3.0W/mK of thermal conductivity, and has excellent puncutre, tear and shear resistance bacause of epoxy film reinforement.

How about GLPOLY thermal film XK-FN30? It is a non-silicone thermal insulator, thermal conductivity is 3.0W/mK and reinforced by fiberglass. XK-FN30 thermally conductive insulator has no silicone oil and no siloxane volatiles, it is designed for silicone sensitive applications such as laser, LED, headlight which contains optic, avioding atomization caused by silicone oil volatiles.

GLPOLY thermal insulator has excellent thermal performance and electrical insulation as well as good puncture, tear and shear resistance, providing high reliability and long service life.

What’s the difference between GLPOLY non-silicone thermal insulator XK-FN30 and Keratherm U85? Except the reinforcement, they are made by the same process and thermally conductive filler, providing equivalent thermal performance and electrical insulation. If you want to use another alternatives, please contact GLPOLY, we will provide you with more selections.

GLPOLY non-silicone thermal insulator has been applied to Han's SMC's projects for three years.
