The markets were flood with various kinds of thermal interface materials. the suppliers always claimed that their products were high performance, high thermal conductivity and cost effective. I just wanted to say this statement was contradictory, you could tell the truth only by this statement, I meant it.

Mr. Lee is the chief thermal management engineer from a electronics compamy in Hangzhou, he knew about GLPOLY through his friend’s introduction. Mr. Lee wanted find a thermal gel substituting for Laird Tputty 508, but he failed. He told me that he had tested several products which provided by some famous suppliers, but none of them met his requirements, the samples either provided low performance or low flow rate. I had met many cases like this. Tputty 508 was high performance dispensable gap filling material with a thermal conductivity of 3.7W/mK and a good flow rate. Several years ago, GLPOLY launched a 4.0W/mK thermal gel competing against Tputty 508, named XK-G40. This material had a thermal conductivity of 4.0W/mK and a flow rate of 50-60g/min, and the flow rate was adjustable.

I recommended customer carry out a high temperature aging test to validate the reliability. Customer formulated an aging test for 1000hours at 150 Celsius degree, determining the applicability by comparing parameter change before and after test. Fifty days later, Mr. Lee informed me that the performance of thermal gel XK-G40 was excellent, data change was less than 5%, it even was better than he expected. XK-G40 has been approved as designated supplier.

GLPOLY has launched a range of thermal gels with thermal conductivity from 3.0-8.0W/mK, providing superior design flexibility.

GLPOLY has collaborated with LG, DJI, Freetech, telmodul, UFI Filters, GAC Motor, NIO Motor and more, helping them design devices that run cooler and reliably.
