GLPOLY XK-P30 thermal gap pad has been applied to etching machine, improving thermal management.

Chips are in short supply in 2021, many enterprises are working towards producing chips in-house and casting off the inhibitions of US enterprises. It is reported that AMEC had launched a 5 nm etching machine. GLPOLY met this customer in electronica China Fair in March. The engineer told us he used an imported thermal gap pad in the past, his team wanted to use a local product due to logistics complexity. “The principal concern was performance,”he said, “I have tested several products of famous brands, the performance were insufficient, and test results did not match the specification really.” We promised that all indexes were true and never worse than data marked on specification.

We delivered samples to customer in three days. In the next four months, customer completed extreme temperature cycling and shock test on thermal gap pad. Devices run stably and temperature rise was lower than they expected. In July, we got formal order from this customer.
