GLPOLY Auto grade Thermally Conductive Potting Material Surpasses PU or Epoxy Products For Charger

You can find a variety of thermally conductive potting materials on the market, polyurethane, silicone, acrylic or epoxy based ones, whatever. Now GLPOLY provides another solution---modified epoxy thermally conductive potting material XK-D153. This material is designed to improve thermal management of mobile phone charger, especially for multiple-jack charger.

If you charge your several mobile phones or other devices at the same time, you may concern about the overheating issue, maybe it won’t cause burning, but you will still worry about it. XK-D153 aims to eliminate your concern about overheating.

In March, A Japanese customer consulted us about an authentic thermally conductive potting material. He said he almost tested all of famous brands of products in China, but he found none of the samples could meet his requirements. The material he needed featuring 1.5W/mK thermal conductivity, low linear expansion coeeficient, thixotropic, no settlement. GLPOLY R&D team submitted the spec after one-month study. After reviewing the data sheet, customer said it was acceptable if material indexes conformed to specification. One week later, we finished samples, and submitted the test report. Customer was surprised, he didn’t expect that we could develop a material so quickly. Now this thermally conductive potting material is in 2000-hour aging test. We will update timely test status.
