GLPOLY-The First One To Launch Non-silicone Thermal Gel-Helps You Solve Silicone Oil Issue

GLPOLY is the first one to develop and launch non-silicone thermal gel in China.

This product is designed for silicone-sensitive, low stress applications, especially for devices equipped with sensors, inductors and optical component, eliminating siloxane concerns, keeping your devices precise.

Earlier this year, we got an inquiry from Vishay about a non-silicone thermal gel equivalent to SPG25B-NS thermal gel. I know customer will continuously find another solution for either better cost or better performance. Customer said material would be used in automotive electronics-display, silicone volatiles and oil bleeding were prohibited, that was why they requested non-silicone thermal gel.

I recommended GLPOLY XK-GN30. With proven reliability in extreme temperature cycling, this material has been used in a industrial camera project for three years. Customer said he had doubts about basic material, with his understanding about raw material, we could not get top class raw material in China. Maybe it was in the past years. but with boom of technology in China, we were able to get superior quality material easily if you pay accordingly.

Customer wanted to validate the performance and reliability and check out whether non-silicone thermal gel XK-GN30 could provide equivalent performance to SPG25B-NS. I would like to support serious customer as possible as I could. Samples were provided to customer for aging test-high and low temperature altering test and thermal shock. Two months later, I received customer’s confirmation email, his team was satisfied with performance and reliability of XK-GN30.

With 3.0W/mK thermal conductivity, GLPOLY XK-GN30 provided better performance than SPG25B-NS. And we promised customer a 15-day lead time, decreasing logistics and storage complexity, furthermore, the cost was similar to previous one.

GLPOLY non-silicone thermal gel has been applied in automotive electronics, industrial devices and is suitable for high volume, automated dispense process. It deforms under low compression force, decreasing stress on component thus decreasing component failures.
