GLPOLY high performance thermal gap pad has been applying to many significant projects, such as 5G telecom, China Academy Institute and State Grid, these are great honor to us. That was because GLPOLY was at top rank of industry in China.

In 2019, the chief engineer from State Grid contacted me and enquired about 3W/mK and 5W/mK thermal gap pad. Customer said it was urgent, data of parts and suppliers should be freezed in 2 months. We delivered samples in three days. Two months later after customer finished the accelerated high temperature aging test, the chief engineer told me that 5.0W/mK will be used in this project, GLPOLY and other two competitors were qualified. We gained part of order. In early 2020, when customer placed the second order, they said the price was a little higher. So we quoted again, but got rejected, he said it was still high, we quoted the thirdy time, but still got rejected. I said to customer this was the best price I could offered, I didn’t want to fight a price war, this product was worth the price, I didn’t think anyone could sell similar thermal gap pad below the value of product. we didn’t quote any more.

In the end of 2020, this customer came to me again, I said I could not cut the price because it was worth it. But he persisted in asking me to quote again, considering his perseverance, I quoted again, same price as I quoted last time. I was surprised because I didn’t know what happened. When customer placed order, he told me that he learned China Academy Institute recognized and purchased our products, this product verified by long-term service life test for a transnational project. Though our price was not the lowest, but we committed to delivering superior quality product, helping customer design devices than run reliably.
